Good day to all who are reading this.
This is my first story on this site. I am calling this a story, but this is a real experience that I had with a co-worker. An affair that I thought would last a lifetime, but did not.
I am going to take the story slowly. The erotic parts will come in the later stages, but this is just a preamble to set the context.
When the affair started, I was married for 9 years, but our sex life had been on hold for almost 4 years, since the birth of our first child. I think we just lost the spark in our married life. My wife was busy with the kid most of the time, and I was busy travelling for my work.
So it was the year 2017 when she, let’s call her P, joined my place of work. She was short and a little chubby. As it was a small office of only around 12 people, and everyone had lunch together, our interaction was quite constant. Over the next few days and months, we used to interact quite often.
Came to know that she was also married to her cousin. She was almost 8 years younger than I was. We were both born in the same month. For work, we used to travel to attend conferences, for client meetings, etc. We were always on friendly terms. I never had any untoward intentions towards her.
One month, our organisation was hosting a conference in a different city, and both of us, along with a few other colleagues, were asked to travel to help out at the conference. I was made a team lead, and she was also assigned to my team.
We were all working very hard and everything was going smoothly. One day, one of the other team leads said that P had made a mistake, and our seniors were very angry. I had owned up to the mistake and said that it would be sorted out soon. Because of work stress, I became a little angry. I called P and raised my voice at her. Immediately, her eyes started to well up, and tears started flowing down her cheeks.
I apologised to her. I realised that I was getting too personal with her and decided to keep my distance from her. Slowly reduced my interactions with P. After a week, she confronted me and asked what the matter was and why I was ignoring her. I told her it was work.
I missed her a lot. I thought I had a crush on her and that it would pass. I did miss our interactions, but I controlled myself and thought it best to keep a distance to avoid any complications. This continued for a couple of weeks. She used to send me messages on the phone, to which I used to respond, but always kept the interactions formal.
I had travelled out of the station for another conference and was busy with meetings and interactions. Out of the blue, I got a message from her saying, “I need to speak with you. It’s important. Call now.” I responded, saying that I was in meetings and would speak to her in the evening. But I had no intention of calling her.
She sent me a similar message again the next day and the third day. I thought it was better not to ignore and to call her that night. I told her that I would call her after dinner, and if that was fine, hoping that she would say that she could not speak so late at night. But she agreed and told me to call her.
So I called her that night. I kept my interaction formal, asking her about work, and kept it light. After some time, she asked why I was avoiding her. I denied and tried to change the subject. Then out of the blue, she said, “I dreamt about you last night.”
I responded, saying,” Oh. About me? Why am I in your dreams?”
P: “This is not the first time that I dreamt about you. But last night was the first time that you crossed your limits in the dream.”
I was taken aback and did not know how to respond. She sensed my shock and flirtily asked me, “Don’t you want to know what you did?” I, for the fun of it, said, “What is the point in knowing what I did in the dream?”
To my shock, she responded by saying, “So that you will know what and how I like.” This was getting me out of my comfort zone. I said, “I don’t think this is a conversation that I would like to have, especially with a co-worker.” I told her bye and cut the call abruptly.
She immediately called again, but I ignored the call. I put it on silent and went out with my colleagues for a few drinks, as it was the last day of the conference and we are all heading back tomorrow.
I could feel my phone vibrating. I saw that there were a few messages from her along with a few others. I ignored P’s messages. I responded to the other messages.
It was late at night by the time I reached my room at the Hotel. I was pretty drunk and opened my WhatsApp, and I saw quite a few messages from P. to give you a summary of it, she said, “Why are you ignoring me. Do you not like me? I like you. A lot. Maybe I am in love with you. I am trying to be flirty with you, and you keep shutting me down. What is your problem? Call me. I need to know how you feel.”
Being drunk, while I shouldn’t have been, I responded saying, “I think I have a crush on you. I don’t want to create unnecessary complications in your life or mine, but I do miss you, and I don’t like that I made you cry that day. So I am keeping my distance.”
The next day, when I woke up, I had a pretty bad hangover and forgot that I had responded to her. I packed my luggage, checked out and caught my plane back to my hometown.
On the flight back, I was going through my messages and was shocked to see my response to P. There were 2 blue ticks beside the message, so she had read the message, but there was no response from her. I thought that when I see her next, I will let her know that the message was sent when I was in a drunken state.
The next day, when I was on the way to the office, I was anxious about how I would convey to P what I thought. When I reached the office, I greeted everyone and went about my work. I skipped lunch. When it was time to leave, I saw a message from her asking me to stay back in the office for a few minutes and that she wanted to talk to me.
I decided that this would be a good opportunity to explain my side to her and told her that I would stay back.
When almost everyone had left, P came to my cubicle and before I could say anything, she said, “Look, I saw your message. You say you have a crush on me. That’s normal. If it’s just a crush, you will get over it soon. It will run its course. But that doesn’t mean that you have to stop talking with me. What I said about liking you is true. I haven’t really felt like this for anyone in a long time. So, all I ask from you is a hug. Can you give me just that?”
Before I could digest what she was saying, she came and wrapped her arms around me and put her face on my chest, and said, “I can hear your heart beating, and I can feel its speed increasing. Just relax and put your arms around me. It will make me feel warm.”
In a state of shock, I followed her instructions and put my arms around her. She tightened her arms around me and squeezed me a little. I could feel her breasts crushing into me. And this resulted in me getting a little aroused. Not sure if she could feel it. She just said, “You smell nice and feel warm.” Then she let go of me and left my cubicle.
It took me a while to regain my composure. Over the next few days, my mind started craving for that hug. Every time I went past her, my mind would go back to that hug, craving for more.
How this leads to the next stage of the relationship, I will explain in the next part. Do send in your feedback to me at [email protected].
